    1. Black Keys vs EITS vs M83 - Have caught small portions of Keys previous two Coachella sets but was hoping to be able to just settle in this year for their Headliner gig...but never seen either EITS or M83. But think Keys have to win...Live bands top press play artists 90% of the time in person, and my sense is anyone not in the Mojave before M83 starts has no chance of gaining entry...guaranteed to be the most overcrowded tent set of the weekend. Would have loved to see some of EITS, but just don't like them as much as other two.

    2. Tie Yuck vs EMA and/or WU/LYF vs Madness - think of trying to split both sets, starting with Yuck and WU/LYF

    3. Brutal Sunday at 3pm Santigold vs. Sean Kuti. vs. Greg Ginn vs. Wild Beasts - all logical counterprograms but all acts I wanted to see...think it's going to need to be touch of Ginn, touch of Kuti, then all of Wild Beasts, my number one act for Sunday...one of the best on album bands of last three years.

I'm with you, Bon Iver and Radiohead are musts, but Godspeed will not fill out their tent...they have passionate fans on this board, but over 50% of attendees will have zero interest. Hustle over after Bonny finishes, catch final 35 of Godspeed, then hustle back over to mainstage for Radiohead.

Anyone worried about getting close for Radiohead is being silly...they are not a personality driven band like the Hives or Pulp where being up close makes a difference...frankly, and don't get me wrong, their my favorite act of the last twenty years, my bedroom door has more personality then most of the members of Radiohead...I'm perfectly happy to soak in their sounds from farther back. So don't miss the back half of Godspeed for a unnecessary closer vantage point for Thom, Johnny and co.

Don't miss Godspeed, seriously. Saw them twice last year. Fucking greeeeeeat.

Whoever put Sub Focus on after them is positively retarded. Weirdest two crowds I could ever imagine. Drum 'n Bass/dubstep crowd and apocalyptic intense post-rock crowd.....riiiiiight.

Noisia at 1pm is positively the dumbest set time on the entire lineup.

Noisia would rip any single one of those tents a new asshole and annihilate the entire place, but having them at night would have been so much better.

I can't believe people feel conflicted about Radiohead/A$AP. Hahaha. If you want to see a good hip hop show just wait for Company Flow on Sunday.

    1) Explosions in the Sky/M83/Black Keys
    2) Shins/Kasabian/St. Vincent
    3) Godspeed You!Black Emeperor/Miike Snow

if if you went both weekend Explosions, M83, and Black Keys are a mess. It seems like Explosions and M83 appeal to the same folks and Black Keys appeal to most of the festival.... sigh... i guess catch opening but miss alot of Black Keys because i've seen em...

this is my first year, but i still feel like there are quite a bit of conflicts. most aren't HUGE, but that keys/m83/EITS is brutal.

here's to hoping the switch things around weekend 2 based on weekend 1 results!

Then don't. I laid down ground rules with my girl and bought her a walkie talkie in case we separate. Your adults and should be able to run off on your own for a little bit to enjoy your favorite bands. Just my 2 cents.

My top 3 conflicts are all on Friday:

Neon Indian / Gary Clark Jr.
Black Keys / Explosions in the Sky / M83
    The Horrors / Amon Tobin

I knew I was going to have issues, even before they moved Mr. Clark to Friday.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.

    Coachella 10, 12.1, 13.1, 14.2
    SXSW 14

I keep seeing this complaint and it's driving me mad. Friday is set up so perfectly concerning these three bands. I can't believe people consider ten or five minute overlap between two stages right next to each other as a conflict. The scheduling of Pulp and Madness is what makes Friday my favorite night honestly

I'm sure when I sit down and really go over it I'll find a crap load more and some that aren't much of an issue. Not sure how set in stone things are for Weekend 2 but I'm preparing off these set times...
