Agreed about A$AP. I'm a hip hop head. Hip hop was my punk before I found punk. I've been to sooo many rap shows, and I've all but given up. Unless its a serious production, like the recent hip hop headliners at Coachella, there's a good chance they bring their crew on stage, and it's a mess. 20 dudes finishing each othwr's sentences and yelling "swag!" with everything turned up to 11 is NOT an entertaining show. If it's not like thy, A$AP will kill it, but I'm not too hopeful.

I am seriously surprised that everyone is tripping about the A$AP / Radiohead conflict. Is it that they wanted to see A$AP and now they won't because of the obligatory Radiohead set (understandable)? Or is it that they seriously have trouble deciding between 1) an internationally acclaimed, fairly rare band that sells out venues in < 120 seconds and... 2) a not-as-polarizing version of Lil B / OFWGKTA?

Nothing rare about Radiohead, buddy. They've been steady touring for the last four or five years, headlining every major US festival. Plus, their set will have some snoozers.

Yah, right before Treasure Island fest last Fall. Random as hell, but it worked. It was Oct 15th at the Santa Barbara Bowl amazing, yet not long enough set. They got about 45-50 min right after sunset. I know it will be about the same set length, but too see them in primetime at the Outdoor stage will be amazing.

Edit: Black Keys / Explosions in the Sky kinda sucks, but I'm not terribly invested in seeing either so it doesn't hurt so bad.

Actually they haven't toured the US since 2008. This will be the first Radiohead US festival show in 4 years.

Not saying they are the rarest act in the world but they haven't been steady touring the last 4 or 5 years.
