    Rules say no but they sold paper umbrellas in the event and I got one year before last, brought it again last year and had no problems at all bringing it into the event.....until my ass of a husband tore it up by being a drunk dummy:-( Now I will need to get a new one!

    Don't know this will be a first as I have been to every Coachella event since 99. The coolest temp the event had was in 2001 89 deg. lol Would recommend contacting the venue directly. I live 10 mins from the venue and there is rain on and of forcasted from Thursday on. Have fun!
