Default Fender guitar amp and a car power inverter

Anyone tried it? I'm wondering if I was to start my car, plug in a power inverter, and then a guitar amp... If it wouldn't blow a fuse in the power inverter. Would be sweet to jam some classic rock, coachella tunes, greatest 80's, etc in the morning. Thoughts?

Your amp and/or guitar will get stolen. Not because someone wants it, but because someone will want to shut you up.

    your shit WILL be stolen

why not bring a bag of money to lie down on....I'm sure when you leave no one will be watching...

dude your shit will be gone within an hour of you leaving....it's called ...set up

set one guy to watch you/group leave - send one buddy behind you a little bit....after he knows ya'll gone come on back and we got ourselves a new f'n guitar n amp...put it in our trunk...we split the profits after the fest....

don't be shocked if you bring it then it's f'n stolen

wish this wasn't the case...but you put good shit in plain site....
Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this…and totally redeem yourself!

That, or he's the spotter... I'd rather think not, but that was a pretty detailed plan... And totally not cool.

I don't advocate playing in the campground, because everyone is there to listen to GOOD music, and after a day full of seeing awesome bands, you'll probably sound like an ass. That being said, this depends on the watt draw of the amp, and the watt output of your power inverter. If you have a small portable amp and a decent 100w+ inverter, this will be no issue. If you have a HUGE amp, you will be jumped by your neighbors before your inverter blows anyways...

Not only do I say HELL NO...But, it also states in the camping rules; NO MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. Also, you'll be labeled a deuche bag. Only deuche bags bring their guitar and an amp to a Music Festival. Also, NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOU PLAY YOUR GUITAR. People payed good money to listen to the Pros, not some amateur wanna be garage band leader.

There's nothing in the camping rules about musical instruments.

the last thing anyone wants to hear waking up semi-hungover to a creeping heat is some asshole fingering his way though sultans of swing through their shitty, shrill 5 watt fender solid state practice amp like a 12 year old with 1 working ear in a guitar center. Leave it at home please.

This will be our interaction if I have to wake up in the morning hearing your shitty electric guitar music next to my tent...

People, stop making your own coachella set time at the camp grounds. Camp. Then go see the real musicians. No one is paying to hear you play, (or Mea, no one is paying to see Mea play)

Hey buddy, check again, those are the festival rules, it even says to go to page 29 for camping, chief. OK, pal?

That said, don't bring a guitar, and certainly not an electric guitar, what the fuck are you trying to prove, man?

Oh my god, you people are fucking awful. The majority of you at least. Seedy fucking Americans doing what you do best: over assume and falsely accuse people. I said: A GUITAR AMP. Nothing about a guitar, nothing about me playing one. Stupid fucks.

For the few nice people, twice I camped and some people played the beatles from their iPod in the morning. Kicked off the set with here comes the sun. It was so perfect. I thought I would do something similar, nice tunes that a majority of people enjoy to hear.

"jam some tunes" generally refers to playing an instrument. that in conjunction with the guitar amp thing... the fuck did you expect people to think?

that being said, a little 10 am ipod beatles never really hurt anyone. go ahead :P

As long as 10 am Beatles doesn't actually mean 1 am dubstep played through a guitar amp because you're pumped and fuckin a why not.

Also: unless you mistyped and it's actually a keyboard amplifier you're talking about or something, recorded music sounds pretty shitty through a guitar amp. I'd test it at home first.
