If it happens, it'll probably be the first Coachella Friday with rain I reckon.

I guess this requires a different camping philosophy. My biggest worry will be getting the carpet in my car muddy. I imagine that won't be a problem unless we get a downpour.

I was planning on putting a tarp on the floor before we set up. It always helps to keep dirt and grass out of food and tents. Hopefully it will minimize a muddy campsite

Rain @ Coachella would be amazing! Unless it was at night, that might not be as much fun. I for one am stoked for sub 90 degree temps!

Clear now. Every year we all think it's going to be rainy and cold and every year it's just really freakin hot.

I'm buying rain gear today but I guess the biggest problem will be mud. I don't want to track it in my car or my tent. Any suggestions?

Thing I'm most concerned about is the wind. There really ain't shit a camper can do about it, is there?

Usually rain in coachella is dried up really quick, so unless it's a heavy downpour which from the sounds of things it won't be, it shouldn't be too bad.

If anything is muddy it will be the roads.....prob will save water because they won't have the trucks dumping water on the dirt roads as much

They are expecting 1/10 of an inch of rain in total. Should not be too wet.

The chances of rain are only 30% and it calls for "light showers" ... we're not gonna have any mud at all. In fact, depending on what time these showers come through, it will prolly be a lot of fun to be watching a show in the "rain"

EDIT: saw those times ... wouldn't mind a few showers around then at all! except 6am is pretty shitty.

WIND mother fuckers is your concern....not rain

It's going to be 50 MPH + on Thursday night...it'll be a fucking comedy show watching people trying to set up their shit.

Your car just sitting there in traffic will be swaying....it's gonna be NASTY
Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this…and totally redeem yourself!

Lol exactly, they will have to use less of the trucks to keep the dirt from getting in everyone's lungs. That's it.
