I guess this requires a different camping philosophy. My biggest worry will be getting the carpet in my car muddy. I imagine that won't be a problem unless we get a downpour.

I was planning on putting a tarp on the floor before we set up. It always helps to keep dirt and grass out of food and tents. Hopefully it will minimize a muddy campsite

Usually rain in coachella is dried up really quick, so unless it's a heavy downpour which from the sounds of things it won't be, it shouldn't be too bad.

If anything is muddy it will be the roads.....prob will save water because they won't have the trucks dumping water on the dirt roads as much

The chances of rain are only 30% and it calls for "light showers" ... we're not gonna have any mud at all. In fact, depending on what time these showers come through, it will prolly be a lot of fun to be watching a show in the "rain"
