Greyhound screwed up our order of return tickets from LAX to Indio.

I got a few questions about this:
1. Is there an alternative (not trains, and preferrably not carpooling)?
2. Could tickets be available at the station? Or will it be fully booked?
3. If all else fails, how much would a taxi cost?
