So I am pretty new to San Francisco and dont yet know a lot of people. Ive been pretty excited about going to my first coachella. I picked up 2 VIP tickets, VIP parking, Car Camping and I have a reservation for a hotel in palm springs with a pool and a hot tub. Im no boy scout but I wanted to be prepared and make sure the girl I was taking had every option and a great time too. Well since all men are stupid (me) and all women are crazy (her) shit finally fell apart this week and now I am not taking her. Its my fault for having no backup plan (or a girl on the side) but whatever.

Anways if you were me what would you do? I mean besides feel like a total badass for the first time in your life...

Would you...

1. Sell the extra ticket and just come solo? I know that people are not friendly at festivals. I would likely cry myself to sleep at night after my offers of sharing my alcohol are repeatedly rejected by strangers.
2. Sell both tickets? Then I could take the money and use it on hookers and coke (or maybe pepsi? I think hookers prefer pepsi in taste tests)
3. Go to bars/message boards to find a girl. I think I'd use the line "hey baby do you want to go to Coachella with a VIP?" I think being used only counts when you don't know it right?

Anything else I am missing?

I was pretty down when things happened, but you cant keep a good man down..unless he is taking a nap. Which Im about to do.

Some truths that may help you with your decision:

• Finding someone to split half your hotel AND a VIP ticket is unlikely at this point
• Convincing a girl to take your VIP ticket and share your hotel is even more unlikely
• Convincing a friend to take on the cost of a VIP ticket is unlikely
• Paying the cost for a friend is a little too much
• Finding a buyer for your VIP ticket at face value is likely (Bam, you just got $750 back)
• Finding some people to share your hotel room with is worth a shot (search the forums)
• ...A guy…may not be your thing, but you could possibly make a real good friend this way
• ...A girl by herself…unlikely
• ...A girl and a guy…nah
• ...A couple of girls needing a place to stay and a ride to and fro each day = your best bet

Dude, you're lucky you split with your girl. Taking a girl to a festival when your shits falling apart and girls are walking around in bikinis is a bad time waiting to get worse. It sounds like you're a little socially inept, not saying you're a bad guy, but I would try and sell your ticket and camping pass. Finding a crowd to chill with is what you want it sounds like, but you're going to have a tough time getting it.
1 You might find someone in a group that can pay for that VIP ticket, and let you join them. I doubt theyll want you to join if you try and make money off that already expensive ticket though. But camping passes are highly sought after.
2 You can use your assets to acquire someone else with their own, like a ride to Indio or a good car to camp in.
3 Don't be a pussy, you got enough cash to get 2 VIP with a camping pass. Sell your extra VIP and roll dolo. Obviously you can afford to have a good time.

2) Take your car camping pass and go camp solo
3) If you don't need the money, find someone on the fields and give them your extra VIP pass and be the most completely awesome stranger ever
