I wish I could do that with my launchpad. =(
then go to edc you fuckin newb. coachella is an experience that cant be reckend with. isnt coachella about up and comers too? eat a bag of dicks, alll of us will be having the time of our lives
agreed
Check out their album, Welcome Reality. Also watch some live performances of theirs because their music translates really well live, and they have a pretty cool setup. Apparently they're playing LIVE at Coachella, and recently they have been touring with a live vocalist.
Here's footage from their show at the former Music Box back in October
Other festival's lineups have warmed me to the Coachella lineup, especially with Electric Zoo and EDC being announced today. I think we can take it that simply not that many great DJs (at least big ones) are extensively touring the states this spring. Certainly the Coachella EDM lineup is better than the EDC lineup thus far. Plus you get bands at Coachella. You know, bands like Radiohead.
By the way Justice will be better than any of the "headliners" at EDC.
Still, overall people on the Forum just like to bitch about lineups.
oh this thread again
just dont go. or just spend the whole day in the dome or dont-lab listening to DJs no one but EDM hipsters care about. be sure to come back in a few years and tell us how lame they are when said DJs are playing the sahara
1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
^^ This Jesus interpretation looks strangely similar to Liam Neeson.
Hav you seen "Taken"?! That man is the second coming
I'm just jealous EDC gets Kaskade twice! They are goona be extra clean.
Haha yea I have. He's a bad ass in that.
Actually now that I think about it he always plays a bad ass. This is all making sense now.
Thank you! That was my exact reaction.
Seriously though, everybody has different musical tastes. If you don't like the "big name" headliners, don't go see them. There are enough kick-ass producers/djs/musicians to keep you busy all day long. If not, then don't go and let someone who will enjoy it go instead.
I may not like the huge popularity of big name DJ "X", but I'm not surprised that they are performing *AT A HUGE POPULAR MUSIC FESTIVAL*. If you don't want to soil your ear with such tripe, then stick to small local events. I personally enjoy both.![]()
i hope all the DJ acts are jam packed...will free up space for the real music.
which sahara act is most likely to play some shit like this?
yo tard-blog.org, why don't you check out Knife Party before you start hating.
Also, this year still has some hidden gems. Don't sleep on Porter. If you've never seen him DJ before, then you really don't know what you're talking about. There is still some legit shit. You just gotta know what to look for. That said, they're proly not gonna be in the Sahara. But the Mojave has legit stuff every year too.
Coachella '10, '11, '12 (w2), '13 (w1), and hopefully every one after
"I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water."

Chase and Status are proof the problem has more to do with the people who attend Coachella than the promotor's desire to book shitty EDM. We got to the Sahara for the last few minutes of Duck Sauce to get a good spot for Chase and Status. As soon as Duck Sauce ended the tent cleared. We had a blast at Chase and Status but it was strange dancing in the empty tent.
