We had VIP parking last year and bought it again this year.

I felt the time saved exiting at the end of the day was well worth the cost.

I remember in 2010 thinking I would give my left nut to avoid the exit traffic at the end of night...

where can one learn how to "accidentally" park in VIP?

I made a wrong turn driving in the first day and saw the VIP sign; I had a VIP wristband (and didn't know about the separate pass) so the attendant waved me in. This trick never worked again and I karmically paid for it by getting stuck in a far-flung parking lot for about a hundred hours after Arcade Fire.

The entrance by the VIP lot also requires a wristband, which means that you can't bring any GA friends in through that gate.
