I really like The Black Keys but anyone who saw them last year probably shouldn't hesitate to skip them for M83. Midnight City is going to be one of the best moments of Coachella this year.

Only time I've seen the Keys was in '09 for a few minutes while my family was eating...I'd like to see them this year. However I love "Midnight City"...::must analyze set placement::

Saw M83 in LA in January and had a great time. Kind of disappointing that all most the crowd knew was that damn Midnight City song and not as many as his old tracks.

How are Black Keys live? I've heard they don't do that well? That the drummer tends to speed up the songs and sometimes isn't in sync. Kinda trying to decide which act to catch. Wouldnt mind seeing M83 again if Black Keys are lackluster.

This whole Black Keys vs. M83 conflict makes a very big assumption that TBK won't be closing out Main (i.e. Goldenvoice is going to pull a Tiesto on Main w/ SHM). I don't think M83 and TBK fans have much to worry about. Unless I just haven't seen the confirmation that SHM is indeed closing Main instead of Sahara.

M83 vs. Pulp, however, seems very likely.

I do not see the pulp M83 conflict act all. Maybe a 10 minute overlap at the most, there is no way pulps set will go that late, if they are before the keys as expected. I would hope that golden voice wouldn't put pulp against madness in a battle of the classic Brit bands.

Flat out going to say these leaked set times are awful. Miike Snow and M83 were put in terrible slots. Neon Indian that early in the day doesn't excite me either. The only thing I'm happy about is Justice starting at 7:45 except I worry he'll fuck up my day and conflict The Hives and Dre

Well to start there is an Xavier and a Ghaspar(d) in Justice. I think there is no way in hell Swedish House Mafia plays the Sahara, ESPECIALLY with Sebastian Ingrosso playing a solo set (why?). Main stage was written all over their contract, no way in hell the combined ego of those 3 would accept anything less.

Plus, the Miike Snow, Godspeed conflict isn't doing anyone any good. But I like M83's slot, cuz it makes it more likely that Explosions get the sunset slot on the outdoor (which, needless to say, would be awesome!).
