Walking into the Campgrounds Thursday night

Question: I have a friend who doesn't have a car camping or tent camping pass, and is being dropped off at the campgrounds Thursday night... is he going to have troubles walking in without a camping pass of any sort? Or will he be ok to just head on in?

I looked at the FAQ's and they didn't address this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ISTM that even if he isn't allowed in directly, as long as he's over 18, he should be able to get someone in line to give him a lift in.

It's my understanding that anyone who has a festival pass can enter the campground at any time from when it opens to when it closes.

Onsite camping opens Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 9:00am and closes on Monday, April 16, 2012 at noon. Early arrival is highly recommended. Cars can check in at 9am on Thursday until 2am, and starting at 9am FRI-Sun (until 11PM). 24 hours for pedestrians.

As long as he is over 18, his wristband is legit and isn't hiding a glass bong up the keester, he will get in no probs.

Yes and no. Can you drink a 30 pack by yourself, probably. The rules state reasonable amount per person. You may be stopped and asked before entering. In this case, make everyone around you (without another 30pack) your friends so they too will potentially enjoying that 30 pack with you.
