Took my 13 year old son, camped, and had a frickin' blast. Counting down the days to take him again!
Tragically broken hip
"He's a cool kid. He's always down to try and hook up with a mother-daughter combo. I haven't sold him on the father-son Eiffel tower yet, though."

Do you find your parents other couples their age for them to swing with while you hook up with the daughter of the other couple?

We've been going with our son who's 19 and a couple of his friends since 09. It's one of the best weekends of the year!
Have fun...be cool...but if you act a fool your kids will never forget it....no matter their age they always look up to dad and see you as the role model.
At (? I don't remember now. I thought it was Trampled By Turtles, but that doesn't make any sense. Some very early act at the outdoor stage) last year, I was talking for a while with a middle-aged guy who had brought his (thirteenish?) son for several years. They both seemed to be having a blast, and it appeared to be quite fine family bonding time.![]()
lol!! I'm 50 too. You and your kids will be fine. It can be exhausting because there is so much to do. BTW My teens grew up at Coachella. This is there 3rd Coachella. They have VIP passes too. They're practically adults now.![]()
