ISAM is more experimental soundscapes than music - Tobin himself has stated that. His earlier stuff was a lot different. Seems like ISAM live is more multimedia art installation than a musical performance. That's what I'm going into it expecting.

Yeah the music is emotionally impotent but it will be a sight to see.

I'm excited about the halloween party that the tents will be Friday the 13th if you know what I mean: Death Grips, Horrors, black angels, Atari Teenage Riot, Mazzy Star, Amon Tobin in the sahara.... if it pans out that way.

So my plan will be to watch EITS from the beer garden at sun down, fill myself with beers during Pulp, and then make my way over to the party.

I'd actually advise against it. For the full ISAM effect you actually want to be a little bit back. Too close and the video projections are too... video-projection-y. Kind of like how you don't want to sit in the front row of a movie theater... it's hard to explain. Shoot for 1/4 to 1/3 of the way back for optimal effect.
