Portable power source for camping

Has anyone used this before? Black & Decker VEC026BD Electromate 400 Jump-Starter with Built-In Air Compressor

I'm trying to figure away to play music, charge phones, etc. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

I used one of those last year and it worked fine - planning to bring it again this year. I powered our music, recharged phones and lit up the campsite with a string of led christmas lights each night.

It loses power fairly quickly though - a few months after the festival it had only about half as much capacity.

Thanks! Can it recharge using the car battery? Did the charge last all 3 & 1/2 days or did you have to recharge it?

I think you can recharge it with a car but I don't know - it lasted for the whole four and half days of the festival.

I took something similar last year... I already had this jump pack so I bought a power inverter. Its awesome. atd-5926.jpg
I was hesitant to use it heavily at first, but was surprised at how much its capable of charging/powering.

Any of those battery box things you guys posted are money! Especially if they have a 110v power port and when you take into account your car bat may be dead in the sun after a few days =/
