Which car campground lot is best?

Hi guys, im car camping for my first time this year.

I have been cruising around the forums for a bit now and had a question...what would be the best car camping lot? do you get to pick or do they assign you to them depending on when you show up?

I've hear that ones closest to the venue are convenient, however can get really hectic and irritating with all the people passing through. However I've heard being far away is equally as annoying. Thoughts?

You don't get to pick. The earlier you show up the more likely your going to be put in a good Lot. I've only camped in Lots 5 and 8 and loved both. Lot 5 last year was awesome. Show up early on Thursday morning and you'll more than likely get put in either of those two lots.

People do not go through your camp anyway, they walk between the rows of camping and I do not think that it is irritating or hectic. Closest to the venue is definitely best unless you really like to walk:-)
