Hmm maybe you're right, I can't find any vids of him seeing it other than this

Indeed, well in that case I'd take Schism and Stinkfist over Vicarious if he wouldn't sing the ending
Stinkfist > 46&2 > Schism > Vicarious
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Revolver issue say that Schism was about MayMay's relationship with Adam?
I vaguely remember something like that, or wasn't it having to do with his relationship with the whole band after A Perfect Circle was formed? Going to look now, I have the whole issue in PDF if anyone wants it let me know
So all it really says about Schism is this

Maynard was interviewed recently by the Star Tribune in the leadup to the River’s Edge Festival featuring both Tool and Puscifer. He didn’t really have much to add to progress on the new Tool album, but did talk about Tool a little more than in other recent interviews:
On what’s taking so long for the follow-up to Tool’s last album, 2006′s “10,000 Days”: “We’ve been brothers for over 22 years, so the personalities are all in check. If you want more information than that, I’m not giving you a dime, because whatever little bit I say always gets blown up. Like, ‘Hey, I hear you guys are recording on a boat.’ No, I mentioned the word ‘boat,’ and I mentioned ‘recording,’ and they were like seven paragraphs apart. We’re not recording on a boat. So I don’t say anything. When it finally comes to it, you will absolutely know where things are with the band.”
On the benefits and disadvantages of having Tool’s only concert of the summer: “I can’t speak for the rest of the band, but I think a show like this is a nice, exciting challenge for any band, something to keep us on our toes. If you don’t challenge yourselves, it’s easy to get lazy as a band. I can’t actually rehearse with them this time because I’m traveling around, but the other guys will absolutely rehearse. We can’t just go out there unprepared and risk looking like a bunch of clowns.”

here you go
Ya know, if Dylan gets to call him MayMay all the time now...

I'm pretty sure if someone called him MayMay to his face he'd punch them lol
I'm pretty sure MayMay would just give him an equally silly name. Perhaps DylDyl or Mr. Dildos

Yeah, I didn't even think about it, to be honest. And now that I do think about it, I think I'm seeing MayMay himself in shorts 12 days...Maybe I'll yell it out between songs and wait for the "official" response/verdict.
Are you going to that thing in Minny? Both days?

No no, I wish. Especially after his, "excitement spiel." The last show of the Puscifer tour in on the 30th, his "hometown" show in Prescott, AZ. My buddy got me a ticket the day they went on sale but I haven't talked to him since. Gotta get in touch, and make sure I still got it.
Puscifer are awesome live. Often lost in the Tool discussion, I know. Musically I can't relate to Puscifer like I do to Tool. But live? Whole different matter. And you get them in wine country. Nice.

I enjoy a fair amount of the content, mainly because a lot of it has to do with Arizona. The majority of it is tongue and cheek, which seems to characterize Maynard's personality. I don't mind his play on words, but I agree, there isn't the emotional connection like there is with Tool.
Musically, I don't mind it at all. What should we call it, twangy-industrial? Just makes me wonder what Tapeworm could've been, especially with Reznor on his current hiatus and Maynard's continued focus on the project. With their continued success as individual artists, one could only imagine they're combined potential, but I digress.
Bottom line: Maynard's talented enough to persuade me to see him any chance I can.
I think I may skip a wedding reception to drive to the show in St. Paul Saturday night. eek

Hooker, Parabola and the usual's.
Man this show was a cash grab. Maynard will do anything for the all mighty dollar.
COACHELLA- 99, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 (wk 1 & 2), 13 (wk 1 &2)
Did you go? And what makes you think it's Maynard's cash grab more than the other members?
Edit: Granted, any one-off festival gig could be considered a cash grab.
