Default Intensity of the search going into camping.

I have been thinking about it and logistically it seems impossible that they will search every single car inside and out including going through luggage. Am I wrong here? Can I pack some hard bar and beer into my suitcase alongside my clothes and be okay? Is it a quick "pop the trunk, look inside, move along" type of deal? For those who have gone camping before any input would be super.
    Thanks
    -J

Your car doesn't go into the camping area. You have to park and carry your stuff in on foot.

they do a brief look through any backpack you're bringing in, and brush off the top layer of your cooler to check for booze. that's about it.

for the most part, there are hundreds of people lined up to get into camping, so the push them through as quickly as possible while still checking for ak-47s.

It's way easier to kick out the 10 rowdy drunks as opposed to searching 30,000 campers thoroughly to find a mickey of rum in some dudes backpack.

Make sure all glass bottles cannot be obviously felt with a couple squeezes of your pack. They mostly brush through for anything hard and solid that would prompt a more thourough search. If they can't find the hard things in like a matter of 3 seconds they move on.

Last year I had everything inside a suitcase, and they didn't even open it. I lifted it onto the table for inspection, they looked at it and me and asked if I had anything bad in there. The sad thing is that I didn't

But if I could stash it all in my car... And find a way to sneak my car into the camping area...
At some point in time a man switches from "I'll have what he's having" to "I'll have what I'm having."
