Yes to both of these. Not exactly true that if you like LCD Soundystem you'd like Hot Chip, but their live show is similar.

Edit: Heres the song in better quality...and you wont get dizzy.

Listened to it a dozen times this week and I think its probably their best record yet.

Yes, this is a great record. I have been an apologist for the band, and even I didn't think they had something this good still left in the tank.

As of right now, I think it's just alright, but I'll give it another listen.

Make no bones about this new album, it's going to rekindle people's admiration for them. This is one of the few bands I get giddy as a school girl for and from what I've heard so far, I'm jumping for joy.

    I like it!
I don't think it's my favorite album of theirs, but it has some amazing stand out tracks. Flutes is my favorite.

There are a few good songs... but overall I thought it was pretty underwhelming. Hopefully it gets better.

Came here to echo the Flutes love. Definitely was the standout track for me after an initial listen.
    4/27 - Ghost BC - Fonda (?)
    4/29 - Franz Ferdinand - Wiltern (?)
    4/30 - Mono - Troubadour (?)
    5/03 - Philip Glass - Royce Hall
    5/06 - Rodrigo y Gabriela - Orpheum (?)

^ I didn't care so much for the version they did of that song on Jools Holland, but the album version is really nice. I mentioned this in 2012 albums thread, but I think the run of songs from "Look at Where We Are" (I'm such a sucker for their ballad-type songs like this one) to "Flutes" is really strong. "Now There is Nothing" is pretty bad, though.

I agree about the Jools Holland performance but im sure the stuff become tighter live as they play it more. They were SO good at the warfield in 2010, the fox is gunna be going off
