From Coldchella to Hotchella!

1) There were plenty of whores wearing next to nothing. I saw pasties and everything. I enjoyed it immensely later on in the evening when they didn't have anything to put on over themselves. Watch the news, for christsakes. It's always cool at night.

2) I only bought one or two bottles of water a day. Way down from every other year; more money to spend on other things.

3) No sunburn and much less body stench than previous years

4) No sheer exhaustion from the heat by the end of the day; more energy to run between sets

5) No wasting time in H&M tents looking for an escape from the heat; more time to watch bands

6) The ability to watch bands at the Outdoor without dying

If you think 100 is better than 85, you're either completely insane or just trying to tell yourself that you're going to love it.

YESSS. A thousand times yes.

I think people who were unprepared were miserable, and I don't blame them. But it wasn't so cold that if people brought the right clothes, they couldn't get warm. Any time I felt legitimately cold at night, I just moved into the crowd as far as possible. It was amazing.

Friday was way too fuckin cold, but still had a blast. One my favorite moments this year was during jimmy cliff and the weather was so stormy and shitty, and eveybody looked super cold and shivering, then he played "I can see clearly now..." and everybody around us went crazy and started dancing like it was actually sunny and nice out.

Saturday was ok but was still pretty cold once the sun went down.

Sunday was fuckin perfect though.

I was a little cold on Friday night, but that was own fault because I forgot my hoodie in the hotel. I brought it on Saturday and I was fine. I would love this weather forecast every year.

Last weekends weather was awesome...we won't ever see that again.....rain wrapped around us ....sitting in a small pocket with light rain coming down.....

I had warm gear so ...cold wasn't an issue....I loved the weather ..and will be taking week 1 again.

I brought all sorts of gear for cold wet weather, but we still left early Friday because of the cold and missed M83, the Black Angels, and the Horrors. I really wanted to see them. We each had a sweater and a rain coat on. (and disposable ponchos just in case)

Normally I would be worried with this weather forecast... but then I remember two years ago when I went to Bonnaroo. 4 days of 100+ degree weather with high humidity and only one day with a quick 30 minute break of rain. Still had a blast the entire time. Coachella will never be as bad as that.
