Thunderstorm wind damage, reported by newspaper.


Winds from a thunderstorm ripped off a 30 foot section of
a Mobile home carport awning and damaged part of the roof
near the intersection of Gilbert and Chambers streets. A
piece of the awning landed roughly 150 yards away at
Diamond Valley Middle School. A tree at the school was
also damaged.

Relayed report from the public of wind damage to a roof
at mcsweeny Elementary School in Hemet. Extent of damage
is unknown. Time of the event is estimated based on
another report of a thunderstorm in the area.

SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS ABOVE 6000 FEET COULD TOTAL 4 TO 8 INCHES WITH UP TO A FOOT OF SNOW ABOVE 8000 FEET IN THE SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS. RAIN TOTALS IN THE DESERTS WILL RANGE FROM A TENTH TO A QUARTER INCH.
