Yeah I mean, this is sounding nightmarish. I'll just be glad when on Thursday morning the forecast switches to 95 all 3 days.
I get more than enough hot weather here. I'll gladly welcome this weather.
If it turns into a huge storm like the one at the Indiana State Fair that killed a bunch of people during a Sugarland show, which band would you most like to see on stage at the time?
I don't understand why the government types in all caps.

... COLDER AND WETTER WEATHER TO RETURN TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...
THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL START TO CHANGE THIS WEEK... AS A SERIES OF SYSTEMS TAKE AIM AT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE FIRST TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY... BRINGING MUCH COOLER WEATHER... AS WELL AS LIGHT TO MODERATE PRECIPITATION. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY RANGE BETWEEN A THIRD AND TWO THIRDS OF AN INCH FOR MOST LOCATIONS WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS... WITH AN INCH TO 1.5 INCHES POSSIBLE ALONG THE FAVORED COASTAL SLOPES. THE DESERTS MAY ALSO SEE LIGHT AMOUNTS... WITH UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH POSSIBLE. SNOW LEVELS WILL START OUT RELATIVELY HIGH WITH THIS SYSTEM... ABOVE 7500 FEET... BUT FALL TO AROUND 5500 FEET ON WEDNESDAY. THIS MEANS THAT SOME OF THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE MOUNTAINS MAY SEE SEVERAL INCHES OF NEW SNOW. THIS STORM WILL ALSO BRING MODERATE AND GUSTY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS... WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.
A SECOND... COLDER... STRONGER... AND POTENTIALLY WETTER TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL THEN TAKE AIM AT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION ON THURSDAY NIGHT... WITH THE BRUNT OF IT FALLING DURING THE DAY ON FRIDAY. THE THREAT OF SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. THIS STORM WILL BE COLDER... WITH SNOW LEVELS FALLING TO AROUND 4500 FEET BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON... AND MAY BE LOCALLY LOWER WITH THE STRONGER SHOWERS THROUGH SATURDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL ALSO BRING PERIODS OF LOCALLY GUSTY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.
The sight of fresh powder on the mountains around the Coachella Valley could make up for the crappy weather.
No video unfortunately. Some Italian festival in 2002 where the Cure were forced to take a small break so the stage could be mopped off, keyboards pushed back, etc.
What weather sites is everyone in this thread checking? My biggest concern is the mud, I can deal with/enjoy rain, but navigating through mud is a fucking nightmare.
This is sounding stupider by the minute. I take back every time I ever complained about the Coachella heat. How am I supposed to wear all my neon short shorts and bro tanks now? No but seriously, 50 mph wind?? Are you kidding me? What is this, a desert or a tundra?
Arctic Monkey's in a slight drizzle sounds rad
IT'S MY NEW COACHELLA 2013 MIX! 60 of this years artists in only 45 minutes!
I really don't think rain will be a huge concern. It will not rain enough to muddy. Every year in the past, they had trucks dumping water on the dirt paths/streets. The real concern is the wind. 50 mph winds could really screw things up, logistics wise. Coud you imagine them trying to dump the Arcard Fire balls if it had been that windy.
they wouldn't drop the balls if it was that windy, and you wouldn't know what you missed anyways
you're pretty sharp...nice observation. i see you just made 2 posts in a row. how often are you checking this?
What happen if someone make a crime?
