That's why my sun gear....is also my rain gear.
Columbia OMNI shield long sleeve (water runs right off, sunlight is blocked, breathable)
Guide pants, waterproof and breathable.

Of course I bring board shorts and t shirts too, but I always keep one set of my backpacking gear just incase.

My friend has a house in PS, stayed there 2 years ago in March. Sitting in the sun one morning, reading the paper, sweating (enjoyably) next to the pool. He's asked me how hot I thought it was. 85 I said. Nope 71. The heat in the desert is amazing. At least w/e 2 looks awesome...

I live in the east county of San Diego, so frankly, any weather that is below 95 degrees is a pleasant break from the norm to me. I am highly stoked about this weekend 1 weather they are calling for. Sure it'll be a little chilly at night but that's why they invented jackets. Coolchella 2012 don't fail me!

With all this talk of rain, watch it be not even that bad. This weather forecast for Weekend 1 is still awesome, rain or no. At least the chance of precepitation is only 60%. Imagine the panic if it was 100%?
