Say what you want to say about the current headliners and lineup, but I'm glad an EDM-only music festival like this that can draw big names is coming to the bay area. Identity festival was a cool idea but that was only one stop in the bay area out of its giant tour and it was in Mountain View.

I'm glad our SF version is 18+. I just noticed on the flyer that the SD one is all ages, which sucks for them. Last time I went to an all-ages show I was surrounded by children in their underwear. Pre-teens unite!

If you find yourself needing an age-limit imposed to keep whatever event you are attending from turning into a of candy ravers maybe it's time to listen to EDM that isn't for high school kids on their first e pill.

for the most part this is true, but they spread like a virus and eventually consume almost everything that was once cool. It's not always the music's fault.

Just in case anyone thought the San Diego lineup couldn't get any better....looks like Jonathan Davis will be DJing there under his DJ name "J Devil" so I guess he's one of the special guests:

As cool as I think Petco Park could be for something like this, being right in gaslamp and all, there's no way I can bring myself to go with this lineup...SF looks cool though.

There's no way that isn't bullshit, though. They used his font during the initial announcement; the special guest is playing both SF and SD, and that coincides perfectly with his two TBA dates; he's going to be on the west coast for Vegas; his only other California dates are in Sacramento. There's just no way it's not happening. I'll be sincerely disappointed if I'm wrong because I already bought my ticket to go from LA to SF.
