I heard some lame cluelessly utter "supposebly" -- and sound smug while doing so. I laughed as I walked away.
What a tool.
Like, i really hate it, like when people like use the word like in like every sentence.
Like, that's like douchey.

My girlfriend and i, a few months ago, for no real reason started saying "schmotally" and "schmotes," and it brings us endless amounts of amusement.

I agree with Rage that "sexy" can be very useful at work when deployed within a certain context to mean a very specific thing.
For my workplace, if I look at printed material going out to the public and it has too much theory-driven, cerebral or overly-academic copy in a small font and not enough color, compelling graphics or other catchy phrases and headers to pull the reader in, I may very well say that it's not "sexy" enough. In that context, it's just the most efficient way to convey a cluster of related problems that my workplace encounters with some regularity, without going to the trouble of actually listing them all out.

ginormous
as in: his dick was ginormous.

"these financial statements are sexy". "their EBITDA disclosures are gnar-gnar". "you don't like our fees - come at me bro".
all things never heard at a professional financial services firm, although I may start incorporating these to be "ironic".

Yesterday I saw this kid who was about 15, max, and he had on a shirt that said swag on it really big. Then later in the day i saw this gal with a RUN DMC shirt on. She's about 23-25. Wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't a new shirt with huge glasses under the name.![]()
Agreed, along with pretty much every other euphemism for pregnancy. "Bun in the oven" is the fucking worst.
Also agreed.
Also, "Obummer". Pithy political insults of the portmanteau variety in general, actually, regardless of who or what they're aimed at.
And my contribution: "cool beans" - can we please send that phrase back to whichever hell it came from?

I hate the phrase "thrown under the bus".
Oh look it stopped snowing...
This guy I work with/for ends nearly every sentence with "if you will"....is that a sign of douchebaggery or autism?
Haaaa. My boss begins or ends every sentence with "ostensibly."
"Ostensibly, we will receive this grant within the next month."
"Yes, you should be able to take vacation time in April, ostensibly."
"Ostensibly, the workshop on Saturday will finish by 3pm."
"Cost-of-living salary adjustments are going to be implemented this year, ostensibly."
"Ostensibly, your intern is going to require minimal supervision."
Does that make him a douchebag, in your opinion?
It makes me want to quit my job and go back to school. Ostensibly.
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."
— Faxman75, who has clearly had enough
The receptionist at my job says "you know" probably every 3 or 4 words in a sentence. If I have a 3-minute long conversation i've heard it 125 times. It drives me up the wall, especially when i'm actually trying to get important information out of her, and she's just bumbling through her phrases. NO I DON'T KNOW THAT'S WHY I'M ASKING YOU

"Bro" is a good one.
I sometimes say "hella", "awesome", and "sweet". Hope I'm not a douche for it.
