Beats Antique!!

How is there not a thread for these guys already? I saw them in Boston a few months ago and they were amazing. Their stage production (dancers, costumes, etc) is unbelievable, and they sounded really tight as a group.

Saw them at OSL in 2010 and really enjoyed their set! They had everyone dancing.

Either way, I listened to Elektrafone the other day and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Could be another act for me to check out barring conflicts.

I would highly recommend seeing them if you never have. I saw them last month in Portland and again they put on an amazing live performance. Unfourtnately I doubt I will be seeing them at Coachella as there seems to be enough conflicts on Sunday already.

I fucking met David Satori on the fields Sunday night and was way to fucked up to have a worthwhile conversation. Their set was insane! This was my second time seeing them and they really outdid themselves this time. The music was amazing, the crowd was totally into it, and the stage dives took it to another level. I loved that when they finished the mouse and the ninja were still being carried away by the crowd.

This was by my favorite set of the weekend. I pretty much lost it when the clarinet solo started, I forget which song it was but it was just amazing. My friend said it well, "the only thing missing was a cobra and a snake charmer to make it perfect."

Beats is playing at Wakarusa music festival in the Ozarks end of next month which I will be attending. Cannot wait to see them again!!

I wanted to avoid some drug-muncher at the Sahara and luckily found myself at the Mohave waiting for the next set. I'd never heard of Beats Antique so I wasn't sure what to expect but they were absolutely fabulous!! The music, the performance, the costumes, everything was so refreshing and original I'm really really glad I got to see it!

Longest crowd surf I've ever seen. They put on a fantastic show. I was exausted from dancing around the whole set.

I was dead sober watching it weekend one and it was early so it's a bit harder to get the crowd off, not only was i creeping closer and closer to the stage but i would venture to say that they were the surprise of the festival in terms of being somewhat unknown and just straight up killin' it on stage.

This was definitely the surprise set of the weekend for me. The crowd ate it up as well. The most genuine, and longest applause of the weekend other than a main stage headliner that I saw.
