Who's ready to party and get their minds blown?? For those who think the art of DJ'ing is dying, this night is for you. We are proud to welcome two time DMC World Champion DJ Shiftee from New York to show you how a real turntablist throws down in this age of buttons and controllers. A projection will provide visuals as well as an inside look at how much skill this guy actually has. Rounding out the night is big bad Pablo Hassan, Endigo, and a massive 2x4 rotating set with the BWOMP! DJs. When Shiftee played LA Beatdown, he blew the Music Box to smithereens, so don't miss this opportunity to catch the world champion play in a dope, intimate venue like the Terrace! The skills will ooze and the bass bins will pump so come out and don't sweat TECHNIQ!!!
(2009 DMC World Champion)
New York City’s SHIFTEE has translated his intuitive math geek mentality into far-reaching success on the turntables, electrifying crowds from NYC to London to Hong Kong. With a degree from Harvard, 2 unique DMC World Champion titles, an NYU adjunct professorship, a finger on the pulse of bass music, and an ongoing international tour schedule, this overachiever can do it all.
On Sept. 12, 2009, DJ Shiftee represented the USA in the 2009 DMC World DJ Finals. He took the title, was automatically inducted into the DMC DJ Hall of Fame and brought the fabled gold Technics turntables back to NYC! This new title places his name along side over 20+ legendary DMC World Champs including Craze, A-Trak, Cash Money, DJ Cheese, Rock Steady DJs (Apollo, Mix Master Mike & Q-Bert), Plus One of Jack Beats, and the late Grand Master Roc Raida.
In 2007, Shiftee also became the only American DJ to date to have won the DMC Battle for World Supremacy title. This victory served as the catalyst for widespread international recognition, allowing Shiftee to take his talent and creativity across Asia, Europe, and the US to some of the world’s biggest clubs, most prestigious venues, and monster festivals. Along the way, he has performed on show lineups including A-Trak, The Roots, Datsik, Talib Kweli, Craze, RJD2, Doctor P, Murs, Klever, Flux Pavilion, Cash Money, The Beat Junkies, Dieselboy, Bare, Q-Bert, Skism, X-ecutioners, AC Slater, Evol Intent, Z-Trip, and more! He fuses an astute ear for cutting edge music with a world champion skill set, creating an experience that is always one of a kind.
(SMOG, Pure Filth)
PABLO HASSAN brings the party. Rinsing out the dubs and destroying dance floors all over Southern California, this hometown hero is a dear friend to the local electronic music community. Half of duo The Professionals along with Sam XL, Pablo is a resident of both Pure Filth and SMOG and as such resides on the slicing edge of the LA dubstep scene. Find the darkest, dirtiest underground warehouse with the deepest bass booming out of the rafters and shaking the very sky, and there you will find Pablo Hassan, shooting fire from his fingers and raining down delicious dubstep on his delirious victims who wait with open minds- the parts that haven’t already melted out of their ears, anyway.
THE BWOMP! CREW

Whatever ensues, the only thing everyone can be sure of is that anything can happen. Hold on to your butts
