Dead Can Dance Reunion 2012 - First Tour Dates Announced

One of my favorite bands ever are reuniting (again - first time since 2005!) and with a new album due out this year (first since 1996's Spiritchaser) have just announced their first wave of tour dates in the fall (for Europe), with N. American, S. American, and Asian dates to follow. I'm gonna guess N. American dates will be in Nov. and Dec....definitely plan on hitting up a couple west coast dates when they announce them. So excited!

"Into the Labyrinth" is their best work I think. It's not as medieval as their earlier work. But "Aion" is great as well. One of those two...or you could try their live album "Toward the Within" which features a bunch of tracks (like American Dreaming) that never made it onto studio releases.

Called the gibson admin office today and found out that David Kuckermann is the opening act (8:15), DCD will be on stage "around 9". Can't believe I'm finally seeing DCD!
