Did everyone get the email last night that said the following:

"Dear Coachella goer,
We have a bunch of topics to go over so it's time to focus!

REGISTER YOUR WRISTBAND
Once you get your passes you should hop on to Coachella.com and register them. There has been some confusion with people thinking they have a Coachella.com account because they ordered festival passes. Coachella.com accounts are an extention of the message board profiles. If you've never joined our message board before, that means you DO NOT YET have an account with us. You can go here to "create a new account" OR log into your existing MESSAGE BOARD account. Then you can register your wristband.

Registered wristband owners will be randomly selected daily starting 3/23 through 4/6 to win one of the following prizes: VIP upgrades, guest passes, merch vouchers, food vouchers, a Safari Tent for camping (comes with 2 artist passes) or front of stage access to watch your band of choice. REGISTER HERE and good luck! (read official rules)

There will ALSO be random people selected at the festival to win cool prizes if your wristband is registered.

That's not all!
You can hook up to your Facebook and scan yourself in at various festival locations. Registering your wristband is encouraged but not required. You can still make yourself an account to use the message board and use the Coachooser features. "

I was going to wait until closer to the festival to register my wristband, but if it means they give away prizes tomorrow, I'm registering today! Just have to remember not to mix up mine and my friend's that were shipped together.

Yes. I bought through stubhub, same issue. I'm terrified of fucking up the registration or having it not work or having them not let me in. I'm probably being paranoid/overly cautious but fear of angering the Coachella gods outweighs the benefits of letting facebook take another piece of my soul on the off chance I "win" something.

I didn't read the entire thread, so maybe this has been addressed, but the RFID on my wristband is a little difficult to decipher. There are a few figures that could be interpreted as different numbers/letters. I bought it from someone on StubHub, and it appears to be legit, but I'm worried about getting scammed. I don't want to register the wrong ID# and get the damn thing de-activated.

Anyone else having this problem?

Heads up. Just registered my wristband. I bought my weekend 1 passes on layaway last June! Got a message after i registered that I had a weekend 2 pass! Wtf? My credit card receipt clearly shows weekend 1 ordered. One more headache to sort out this week....maybe you should register your wristband to find out what you have...

I tried registering my weekend 1 wristband (fresh out of package, ordered via layaway) today and I got a message saying my RFID has already been registered... wtf!? How is this possible? Anyone else have this problem??

I still haven't gotten my wristbands. They're supposed to be delivered today, but man did they cut it close! I'll be registering them because I am a lemming who doesn't mind if Facebook or Goldenvoice knows that I'm at Coachella. Just like inventory, great.
