Getting from the festival to the bus stops

This will be my first year and I'll need to catch the Greyhound back to LA after the festival. Just wondering how you get from the festival grounds to where the bus stops? It looks like quite a hike.

Also Is it better to catch the bus from Coachella, Palm springs or Indio? All stops seem to just be next to a highway without any proper shelter/markings.

LA to Indio: 5 daily schedules at 7:00am, 8:30am, 11:50am, 2:45pm, 11:35pm.

Indio to LA: 4 daily schedules at 6:10am, 8:25am, 1:00pm, 10:05pm

Also, if you are taking Greyhound I think the Indio stop is best. The town of Coachella is a few miles further southeast off Hwy 10 but the festival is in Indio. The Greyhound station in Indio is still about 6 miles from the festival though.

Are there any direct busses that go from LA to the festival? Really strange that the only way there is on public transport that doesn't even go to the festival grounds...
