Has the music scene not figured out that sleigh bells is possibly one of the most boring live acts ever?

I thought their set at Coachella last year was fun.

And I'm probably one of the only people here excited for Feist. Seeing her at P4k frees up a potential conflict for Coachella Saturday.

Well, some decent adds to the second wave of bands for this fest. Sleigh Bells and Flying Lotus should be fun. Wondered if Feist or Godspeed would actually be the headliners and so far it seems to be the case. But they claim 20 more bands are still TBA. Somehow they sold out of 3 day passes already.

3 day tickets sold out over a the first weekend they were put onsale last year. So its not a big stretch they went pretty quick this time.

Yeah, me too. I'm starting to lean towards coming again. I'm very, very curious about the direction Dirty Projectors is taking...esp now that Angel is gone.

But, I have no tickets. Does anyone recall how easy it was to get 3-days just prior to the fest? I seem to recall quite a few people trying to sell some on the board here for at/near face, no?

Well, now with a 3 day ticket being a print out pdf and not physical tickets, its going to be interesting. You might end up having to just get a single for each day from different people if you dont buy em outright on ticketweb.


I wonder who is going ot end up underneath Vampire Weekend. Sunday needs a lot of upper tier acts.

I saw her in Chicago back in November...the slowest show of my life. My legs were tired from being stuck in the same position for 2 hours. Hopefully she's livened up the act a bit.

And put a sock in it Tubesock...if you read above you will see that they are sold out. Just conveying how more awesome I am than everyone else...jeez.

I may do that. Or, I may just buy my air and roll the dice and get them when I arrive in Chicago (or have my buddy get them the week before). After years of watching the flush of tickets become available for fests the week/days prior, I'm feeling more bullish about rolling this way. I just know that people on this very board will have tix at face to unload come closer to the fest so...

Same here... I got my Saturday ticket yesterday. Very solid, top to bottom.

Overall, it's a night fest if you got the 3 day, but I think I'll stick to Saturday.

Anyone who bought a 3 day pass, have you received your PDFs yet? I have my receipt, but that's about it.

Check the receipt email. Most times they include them there as attachments. Then, read the fine print for any words like "transfer," "transferability," "non-transferable," etc.

"Your tickets will be sent via email in a PDF. Please make sure your email address is correct when placing your order. Please print your ticket and bring with you each day.

Your 3-Day pass will include (1) ticket which must be scanned each day. You may reprint if you lose your ticket, however do not duplicate your ticket for your friends as only the first person scanned in will be allowed entry. Any duplicate copies will be denied. No exceptions will be made. "

Ticketweb usually sends the receipt and then the PDFs in a separate email. The subject of this email says THESE ARE NOT YOUR TICKETS anyway...

That would never happen, as cool as it would be. They would be the single most expensive band ever booked at Pitchfork. The biggest band I can recall headlining is maybe LCD, Sonic Youth, Animal Collective, Public Enemy or maybe Flaming Lips.
