I think the 2 rumors so far will happen. PJ Harvey was in their top 5 of best albums, they usually book acts that end up on their year end lists.

Cut Copy did a Euro fest and Pitchfork in the same weekend last year so it could happen.

They are pretty much just going to play any festival thats willing to fork over the big money to get them, just so you know. Have you noticed only 2 festivals have them booked? (and both have deep pockets) Pitchfork isnt going to break the bank and be willing to lose getting other talent just for these guys. Are you going to be happy if the ticket price goes up, say $20 - $40 more because of this?

I don't think it's likely, just possible. I'm sure they will play Lolla instead, I was just hoping to not have to, you know, go to Lolla. And for the record, yes, I would pay an additional $20 to have them there.

odds are they won't be a any kind of proper tour. they are gonna play a few festivals and then tour the new mars volta album.

I admit that I don't know PJ Harvey that well, and was too young to appreciate her popularity ten, fifteen years ago. Having said that, I can't see her headlining Pitchfork - anyone else agree?

Was really hoping for Pulp, but that was unrealistic. Vampire Weekend is lazier booking than Black Keys at Coachella.

I'm always excited for aftershows. Imagine if Godspeed played at Empty Bottle, Subterranean, Schubas or Lincoln Hall

I forgot where Liars played in 2010 for Pitchfork afterparty but it was one of the best shows by them. Thinking it was at Empty Bottle...

They do it in stages. They'll announce a bunch later on, and then some more later.

No PJ Harvey is so disappointing. Guess she's not touring at all this year. Should be a fun weekend, but not worth flying out for.

Godspeed is cool and everything, but I'm not going to book a ticket based on that preliminary lineup. Perhaps it will get better with additional announcements.
