Super dissapointed this didn't happen weekend 1 as well, but this was honestly the only way to improve on an absolutely flawless performance. Modeselektor is just some of the best in the business. I feel bad for people that didn't see them

It was definitely one of the hardest decisions of the weekend for me, DJ Shadow was killing it too. Fuckin' conflicts...

I saw them play on Saturday night at the Metro in Chicago. Amazing show that ran about an hour and forty minutes. I missed them on Weekend 1, so it was a redemption show for me.

Modeselektor was awesome!!!! Loved how as it drew closer to 10 pm people started clearing out to try and get a good spot for Dre, etc. I usually avoid being up close because I like to jump around, but as the crowd cleared I ended about 40 ft back, then Thom walks on stage and the few of us left behind (I'm not sure about others, but it seemed it was only half the tent) all go completely ballistic. I seriously don't like to dig it in, but in this case, THIS was the event to overshadow all others at Coachella. Thom was not nearly as lackluster as he was when Radiohead. He was dancing, pumping up the crowd, and singing with intent. Not just that, but even before that Modeselektor was tearing up the set with an awesome show. My thanks to them for making my Coachella.
