Not surprised its gonna be Thom... Would have been cool to catch, not terribly upset about it though. Grats, weekend two, I guess?

It was a true Holy Shit! moment, but our weekend 1 boardie dance off was much more fun. I enjoyed the set much more with all of you.
Wow, 12 step meetings at Coachella, who knew? SOBERCHELLA.COM

So he came out and sang? The boardie dance-off confetti fest was way more fun than Thom Yorke singing. That said, it still would have been cool to see him on such a tiny stage.

Went to check out Modeselektor for about 15 minutes between DJ Shadow and getting a spot for Snoop, was absolutely blown away, one of my top EDM sets of the weekend for sure.

Just imagine if you had seen the whole thing. You should download the web rip from week 1, link is in the bootleg thread.

Super dissapointed this didn't happen weekend 1 as well, but this was honestly the only way to improve on an absolutely flawless performance. Modeselektor is just some of the best in the business. I feel bad for people that didn't see them

It was definitely one of the hardest decisions of the weekend for me, DJ Shadow was killing it too. Fuckin' conflicts...

Thanks for the heads up about the rip, I'll download that ASAP.

Seeing Thom Yorke from the front row was totally nuts, and Modeselektor was probably the highest energy set I saw all weekend, so much fun, and plenty of room to dance.

There were a few songs in the middle of the set that I hadn't heard before, does anyone know what the set list was?

What's the song that is building up at the very end of this video?

Highlight of my weekend. Modeselektor threw down so fucking hard, and Thom coming on stage at the end was mind blowing. Modeselektor ruined Dre & Snoop for me.

Wow, so you caught 'em both weekends? That's a testament to how awesome they were week 1. And to think you were debating whether to catch DJ Shadow instead...

Fucking seriously, they fucking pumped me dry of all my dance moves, I was walking jelly after this show. Dre and Snoop was like watching a silly Saturday Morning cartoon after what Modeselektor put my body through

I saw them play on Saturday night at the Metro in Chicago. Amazing show that ran about an hour and forty minutes. I missed them on Weekend 1, so it was a redemption show for me.

Modeselektor was awesome!!!! Loved how as it drew closer to 10 pm people started clearing out to try and get a good spot for Dre, etc. I usually avoid being up close because I like to jump around, but as the crowd cleared I ended about 40 ft back, then Thom walks on stage and the few of us left behind (I'm not sure about others, but it seemed it was only half the tent) all go completely ballistic. I seriously don't like to dig it in, but in this case, THIS was the event to overshadow all others at Coachella. Thom was not nearly as lackluster as he was when Radiohead. He was dancing, pumping up the crowd, and singing with intent. Not just that, but even before that Modeselektor was tearing up the set with an awesome show. My thanks to them for making my Coachella.
