But yes, he was a great player. (And he did, in fact, hit a home run in the major leagues at the end of his career on the day he became a grandfather for the first time).

Only reason I'm posting it was I went to high school with the guy and he was a complete jackass to everyone that wasn't his friend. Even the few times I've seen him since (he would usually join our thanksgiving turkeybowl game) he was still a complete tool. I just find it funny.
