Who's the boner in Oakland with the horn farting a storm?

After Balfour walked the leadoff man on four pitches Vin Scully said his last name looked like "ball four". Between that and the farting it was a pretty comical last couple innings. Only was watching to see Balfour (my fantasy guy) and Cook (friend's and opponent's fantasy guy, whom looked really good).

Answer for above: R.A. Dickey all the way. More K's and wins along with being just a plain crazy story. Picked him up as a FA before he got super-hot (http://games.espn.go.com/flb/clubhou...&seasonId=2012 ).

The Angels are getting hot! Mike Trout, Torii Hunter, Pujols, and Trumbo are killin it right now and they get Weaver back on the hill tonight. Weaver was 6-1 with a 2.61 ERA before he strained his back, no big deal. He would be starting the All Star game for the AL for sure if he never got hurt.

Expecting big things from my Halos this year, it's just gonna be hard to get past Texas. Hoping for a wild card spot at the very least.

Their numbers are nearly identical. K's, innings pitched, WHIP, etc dickey has the edge with wins and era. But how do you not honor a perfecto? 22 times in the history of the game (140 year) and 20 of those in the modern era (since 1900). Cain is the easy choice given that his numbers are similar to Dickey.

Monster-and-a-half matchup tonight on Sunday Night Baseball. Dickey vs CC. Sweet.

Pissed I didn't start Capuano against the Angels. Thought he might get rocked or at least lose.

Man...the Dodgers really need Kemp back.

This season utterly blows for me. Between the Dodgers sharp fall and my fantasy team firmly planted in last place (Kemp + Rivera + 3 other lesser players on the DL), this season has been just crap for me. I hope things pick up after the all-star break.

Yeah, this has been a steep and sharp drop for them. I'm really hoping that him and Mark Ellis inject some hitting back into the team.

This is the first time that the Dodgers have been shut out in a series sweep of 3-or-more games (all-time). This is the fourth time that the Giants have shut out an opponent in a series-sweep of 3-or-more games. The other examples: 1918 vs. Phillies (3 games) 1948 vs. Reds (3 games) 1954 vs. Phillies (3 games)

And just when I was about to get a win starting him in fantasy. Couldn't make it to five innings, Andrew? Fucking glove-to-the-face-before-pitching penis.

Yeah, I can't complain about the results, but good lord I'm tired of playing the Mets, Braves, and Nationals.

This evening. I'm going to the Reds vs. Giants game with my father. Both Cueto and bumgarner have impressive records, so it may turn out to be a pitcher's duel tonight.

In a few weeks, I'll be in Atlanta visiting my sister and brother in law while the Giants are playing the Braves. We're going to the getaway afternoon game. I've never been to a game at Turner Field before and am looking forward to checking it out.

Instant classic in this article on the 2002 Giants reunion:

"Game 6 happened and I don't even remember Game 7," said Bonds, slimmed down to about 212 pounds from his new love of cycling. "I remember standing in the shower thinking, 'What happened?'"

A's are back to .500 and these bats shows some potential. A's also add SP Anderson hopefully soon which will only bolster a strong pitching staff. All they need is an upgrade at SS and to a lesser degree, 3B or OF.

My lord, does Tim Lincecum suck now. He gave up a stellar 6 runs in a 3 1/3 innings today against Pittsburgh.

Also, nice to see the Pirates and Nationals doing so well. I know the Pirates teased everyone last year, but they're off to an even better start this year. The Nationals seem to be better built to sustain this than do the Pirates, though. They have more balance, and Ian Desmond isn't getting enough credit. Back to the Pirates, I think Andrew McCutchen is the NL MVP for the first half. Apologies to Joey Votto, but McCutchen is doing it all for the Pirates and they're in 1st place right now. If he played in New York or Boston, we'd be sick of hearing about him.

Tony LaRussa is such a dickwad. Fuck the all star game. St Louis is 2.5 games behind Pittsburgh, and yet 6 Cardinals make the NL roster? Fuck you LaRussa, you ugly greasebag.

Just wait until he ruins the All-Star game by doing shit like replacing a right handed reliever in the middle of an inning with another right handed reliever, all to pitch to the same left handed batter.

It's nice to see the Pirates in buying mode at this point in the season. They seem to be in the Justin Upton sweepstakes and if that seems to pricey their contingency is Carlos Quentin. Both would help them reach the postseason. Arizona is reportedly scouting the Pirates AAA club and the Padres are scouting their single A club.
