I liked the strings of balloons, especially when illuminated at night. I had never seen that done before and they were fun to try to incorporate into photos. I was confused over how they seemed to move around until I saw how it was done. Deceptively simple but major visual impact.

Also the round maze like thing that took you in circles and got shorter until you popped out in the middle where you would find people hanging out. I had fun scaring the shit out of people while walking thru this installation.

One of my favorite things at Glastonbury is The Rabbit Hole. Main area is an Alice in Wonderland themed tent, then you gotta crawl through a very small tunnel to get to a fairly large dance tent with DJs and a "Disco 2000" floor, and more tunnels that lead to other things, such as an all-night cinema.

Seconded on the Sambazon vendor. I don't think I've seen those since 2009, and that was in VIP. Didn't attend last year but I recall looking for one in 2010, and not getting any. Those 2 for $5 smoothies really hit the spot. Was the vendor of the amazing brisket subs from 06-08 around last year? The Brazilian BBQ from 07-08 was really good, too.

This is what I miss too! I feel like the art installations used to be so much more interactive. Remember the gnome tent, where you would wave your hand in front of the little gnomes and they would talk? Or the sound pole installation where you walked by and the sound would react to how everyone was moving? I remember after Prince played someone got a line going and we were swirling through that installation with our eyes closed....too much fun. By the way, thanks for posting those pics! Good memories.... and yes the Acai bowls! I think I ate about two a day.
