He's not kidding. He's a fan. A few of the metal dudes on the board have been talking about them.

Ha! My respect level for that guy was always pretty high. It just shot up exponentially. Way funny.
Ah, that's where you're wrong. Thanks to all the mo's in this god forsaken state, there are sooooooooooo many young folks here. Which translates into a LOT of hipsters. Also making dating for someone of my age nearly impossible! BUT, I will also be at that show when it finally happens. And I'll toast to your name if I find a compatible drunkard.
Like I said, you're the only one so far that's made any sense in this thread. I will take you up on your advice, sage one.
Let's take inventory here:
amy has accomplished the following over the past 6 months:
1) Ditched extremely dysfunctional marriage
2) Dyed her hair back to an appropriate color for a woman in her late 30s
3) Resisted the urge to slut around with every OkCupid jackoff who gave her empty compliments, but rather steadily dated one dude from there for five straight months
These should be applauded, and not mocked.
Shame on you all.
Let's embrace the boringness of Amy's recent dating life, and realize that when it comes to her, no interesting news is good news.
Everybody Wang Chung tonight.
Being a chick at a metal show looking for a guy is like fishing with dynamite. Your main issue is gonna be finding someone good looking who doesn't smell and isn't like suprefan.
Area Man’s Intelligence Probably Just Too Intimidating For Most Women
“Recently, for example, I talked to this girl at a bar for half an hour about Radiohead—quoting lyrics and telling her about how the band went in a new musical direction with [their 2000 album] Kid A—you know, really making it easy for her to understand,” Walker said. “Things were going great, and I was saying a lot of very interesting stuff, but when I tried to call her a few days later, she never picked up or returned my calls.”
I'm with Archie; way to go, Amy!
One thing I can't wrap my head around: my friend was on OkCupid. She at least met some decent guys--none really stuck in the long run. Now she's on Match, and the guys are "worse". Worst investment ever. :/
