Alcohol with a minor in car? (Car Camping)

Does anyone have any experience bringing in alcohol through the car camping search with a minor? This seems somewhat ridiculous that if anyone with you is under 21 you cant have any booze.

I don't but if you're that concerned about it just make them get out of the car and have them walk through the checkpoint separate from the line you drive through.

im in the same position. except ill be the one under 21. its my campsite too. so im pretty sure i have to go in with the car n shit

Have your friends walk through with the booze

Minors get out and walk through inspection.
Adults drive car in with booze.
Once the car goes through inspection, minor gets back in the car.

As long as that minor is 18 or over, they can walk thru.

i was worried about this last year i was with two 21 + and 3 people 18 and they let us bring about 3 cases and didn't even really look to see wat was alcohol and was was just normal drinks ...and they didn't look at any of our IDs

In the two years of car camping I've never had my Id Checked, but then again I've never had anything to worry about. I'm guessing you should be fine but like others said if you really are worried have them walk through instead.

I am bringing my 19 year old daughter and was wondering if this is going to be an issue. I considered bringing her birth certificate just to show she was my daughter so they wouldn't bitch about me bringing my beer in. But I think having her walk in is a safer option.
