They announced a WET volunteer program for this yesterday. I don't think I am going to have anything better to do the weekend of June 28- July 1st, and I am thinking about taking a greyhound bus (comes out to about $230 round trip from LA to Grand Rapids and back) to get from so cal to the fest. I love taking the bus places and if I can get a free ticket with some work it sounds pretty good to me ! maybe make some new friends, party, catch some decent music etc. If any of you guys are seriously going and wouldn't mind me +1 in your camping group or whatever let me know. Thats basically the only thing holding me back at this point, because I wouldn't be able to bring all the necessary camping supplies with me on a greyhound bus. Monetary contributions from me of course. Let me know, I'd love to make this trip!

I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to partake in because its the only way I would actually go to the fest, volunteer or no go. There are acts I'd love to see, but if I happened to miss due to work I wouldn't mind. I won't have any friends there like at Coachella so I wouldn't feel like I'm missing out on anything, having to work while all my friends are at a particular act. Sounds like a bit of adventure going from so cal, and the more adventures I can get in while being in my 20s the better.
