Great job! This is a really good effort to relieve the clusterfuck that will probably happen Saturday, except for FlyLo vs Radiohead...god dammit
Either the Shins or Bon Iver will close the Outdoor.
It takes a fast car, lady,
To lead a double life.

this is pretty goddamn perfect, IMO. Somehow manages to alleviate most of the most dreaded conflicts. Being able to go from Sub Focus to Mangum, to GY!BE, to Bon Iver, to Miike Snow, to SBTRKT, to Radiohead, to FlyLo would just be amazing. I endorse this schedule whole heartedly.

Maybe it's been answered but why would gary clark jr be so late in the evening when his name is on the 2nd line for Sat? I'm hoping he plays early, the thought of his show conflicting with bon iver makes me sad.
I'm scared bon iver could conflict with radiohead too if they are on different stages. Please no![]()
I see Gary Clark Jr. opening the main or outdoor.
That article also seems to imply that SHM will be in the Sahara...
"Electronic music is a bigger part of Coachella than ever, with global superstars from Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta to Avicii and Afrojack set to shake the Sahara tent's monster sound system. 'It's the biggest show for us this year,' says Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia, who will unveil a new lighting and stage setup at the fest. 'Our production team really made our dreams come true. It's something else, man.'"
I thought quite the opposite, with their new stage setup and lighting, I'm sure they'll be main stage considering they're the biggest Sahara type act.
Well it isn't like people have never unveiled new visual shows in the sahara before: daft punk, deadmau5, plastikman etc. Plus the fact that they left out justice makes me think that justice is playing outside while shm will be in the sahara. Although their billing suggests otherwise.
The White Stripes 9/18
Just FYI, We Were Promised Jetpacks posted an update of FB saying they will be playing at Coachella on Saturday April 14th at 7:00pm
kaiser chiefs in the mojave? i dont see it...
theyll be on the outdoor most likely
Also worth mentioning that we probably care more about what stages the artists are playing than the artists themselves. Swedish House Mafia is probably too busy dropping hints about the big unveiling of their fire breathing robot dinosaurs with firework guns to this guy...they aren't going to go on about whether said face melting will occur in the Sahara on on the main stage.
i don't see this. link?
edit: it says 7pm-10pm
second edit: it seems most bands using bandsintown may have semi-accurate times listed. for instance, the sheepdogs have 12pm-3pm listed, while refused has 12am-3am listed. i've been through a bunch of pages this morning, and it seems pretty intentional.

In the past, when bands have given oddly specific but wide time frames on things like Facebook, I've always wondered if they are told generally speaking that "you will be playing somewhere between 12:00-3:00" or "at night after 9:00" so they can coordinate travel and production shipping, and then are told their specific times closer to the event (because I get the impression that PT/GV is fiddling with them until the day they drop). In the past there have been a lot of acts that confirmed "we're playing at 7:00" only to play at 5:45 or 8:00 or something, which would still work in the general time frame of their eventual "confirmed" time.
I think it would be an interesting turn of events to have St. Vincent play AFTER Andrew Bird. Andrew Bird is listed a line above her, and has on many occasions had her as an opening act for his solo shows.
