I think someone found out Gary clarke said he was playing night time in a tent. Anyone remember that? What do you guys think of putting firehose in a tent at night and getting Miike snow on the outdoor at night? I'm thinking Guetta is going to go head to head with Radiohead. Either him or Kaskade. Also Based on kaskades billing i think he is more likely to play after sebastian ingrosso

Based on last years lineup, the Sahara headliner will more than likely be Sebastian Ingrosso (Steve Angello and Axwell closed the Sahara two out of the 3 nights) So it will probably just stay how it is on this lineup page now:

axwell and steve angelo were the highest billed sahara act for their day. Sebastian has two acts ahead of him. That doesn't rule him out for a closing set, but i'm thinking it's sebastian ingrosso > kaskade > guetta. with a slight chance kaskade and guetta switch

This. People in so cal go absolutely ape shit over kaskade, david guetta is the 'number 1 dj in the world', and sebastian ingrosso is the least popular of the shm guys. we should probably lock that part up.

Honestly, even as big of a fan of electronic I have basically no interest in either 3 of the artists nor will I see them, but are Angelo and Axwell really that much more successful as solo artists?

I won't be attending any of their sets either, but based on headlining spots at all of the insomniac events, etc.

And I know that axwell and angello have a decent amount of singles, where as I don't think ingrosso by himself even has one newer notable original track.



Other note: Is it me or does ASAP rocky closing the gobi not seem right either?

As much as I loathe the idea, I don't think it's unrealistic that A$AP will go against Radiohead in the Gobi.

I also doubt they'd be playing A$AP Rocky at the same time as Flying Lotus, they're both stoner music, Goldengate wouldn't make them conflict.

I'm sure they wont be playing at the same time. Flylo will get more like a 9:30 Mojave set I feel, moving Miike Snow to the Outdoor with ASAP still closing the Gobi

I wouldn't be surprised at all if she gets stuck in a night Gobi spot. I'm trying to think of somewhere else to put her, but nowhere else seems plausible.

Kasabian in the Gobi- I don't think so. Squeeze I highly doubt as well. Firehose is possible but unlikely in the Gobi too. Asap Rocky followed by SBTRK is my bet

Perhaps the emphasis was on Saturday and not night. Like, just referring to Saturday as "Saturday night". as opposed to simply saying "Saturday"
