Regardless, your original statement (which was meant to refute mine) made it sound like Odd Future was in the Sahara from the beginning (which they weren't). That's the point.

But you have to admit... Amon Tobin as counter programming to SHM makes sense, right? Do you think it is likely that 3 out of the 5 stages will have electronic acts closing it? I don't see that as very likely.

Considering the huge number of electronic acts this year on Sunday, also that they don't seem to flow well with anyone on the Main.

Switch Amon Tobin with the Rapture. The Rapture are extremely dancey and have closed the Sahara before. It makes the most sense in terms of how you guys have the times set-up currently.

I think The Rapture in the Sahara and Amon Tobin in the Mojave makes the most sense. Dale Gribble won this thread a while ago.

In my head, they're playing the Leonard Cohen slot of the Outdoor. 7:30-8:30. Arctic Monkeys having played from 6:35-7:25, and Pulp coming up from 8:30-9:30. But that would mean that The Black Keys would close the Coachella Stage instead of the unfortunate noise of Swedish House Mafia.

If I remember correctly, somebody Facebook messaged Paul Tollet like a week before set times were released, and he said they moved Odd Future. I remember it seeming very last minute as well. In fact, I think if you pull up last year's Friday set times, it's in there...or the Odd Future thread, can't remember which.

Mazzy Star has the potential to pull a Throbbing Gristle sized crowd...I think a lot of people are intrigued, but the band is very few attendees top pick...If they're on in the evening battling Pulp, Refused, Madness, Black Keys, and all the dance acts, etc...it could be ugly.
