So I know they just finished with their new album, and already have a couple of tour dates for festivals in europe in May, seeing that they are also based in L.A, what do you think the chances are that they will be added to the line up? I think they would make the perfect headliner for Friday night.

to be honest i used to put linkin park with limp bizshit as a shity band but over the years i actually have grown to really like the hybrid theory album and they are much better than that fred durst shit so they are ok. their main problem is their line from hip hop to rock sometiems is a mess live and the guy who is the one who raps is fucking terrible live. the singer is good, very good but the rapper dude is shit. so its give and take... when it comes to that form of music, its faith no more, ratm, korn and ill live with p.o.d, papa roach and linkin park..

I agree with one of the prior posts that Linkon Park used to suck, but they have gotten a lot better as the years gone by. Their newer stuff is actually quite good. I doubt they would headline though for any of the days. If they were to come on Friday, they would probably open up for Bjork. I doubt they would be put on for Sat or Sun.

its not that im a fan, but i dont discredit any music cuz to each his own. trust me i used to think bjork was shit for years until i gave it a chance and now enjoy her work. linkin park is stuck in the limpbizcuit mtv mentality of people's minds. hey no one gave the beach boys any credit for a long time but they put out some amazing melodies. not saying linkin is in that ball park cuz they are certainly not, but they have their moments, thats all..

the whole surf genre got no respect until years later. The Beach Boys didn't get any respect until they started diversifying their sound. Linkin Park could do the same, but most don't think so.
