1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
I probably would've worn runners of some description, had it been cooler, but i wore flats instead and took them off for most of friday before there was all sorts of shit on the ground. barefoot >>>> anything else
there's no option for air force 1 af-82s
I wore ugly comfortable flip flops -- They worked well, no blisters and no hot feet....slip on and off easily for dead grass dancing with bare feet. I saw someone puke all over the grass and stopped going barefeet.

Ladies--I picked up a pair of these before I went to Germany. I wore them the entire time, walked for hours and hours in them, and my feet, legs, and back didn't ache at all. Like walking on clouds.

I strongly suggest trying to go barefoot Friday while the grass is still fresh and see how you like it, very liberating.
usually shoeless all weekend except on entrance route trail, dirt and restrooms - then flip flops. the liberation comes with the shower at the days end with a thorough feet washing and getting into uggs for the nightwear. never any issues with steppers - i always find plenty of space for dancing on the fringes and give lotsa room for wobblers.
I go barefoot in the Sahara so I can entertain myself dodging needles

--almost, almost, almost the real thing
I don't see how barefooted is an option at least if you try to get closer to the stages. When I went before, there was literally no room to stand and everyone was stepping on each others feet trying to fight the waves in the crowd from everyone pushing to get closer. Being barefoot would be a pain, in so many ways ...
Nike Roshe Run. So comfortable!

I got some Nike Roche Run's last year right before coachella. NEVER AGAIN. My feet were hurting for days after I got home.
I will be taking some Air Max 2013 or some of the new Lebron X shoes. Im going with straight comfort, not gonna risk it again.
I bought some classic checkerboard vans slipons. They should be good on the feet, though I'm going to need bandages to protect my ankles. I still have scar from the last pair of slipons I owned as a teenster. If only I'd known about SOCKS back then. Still amazed I didn't encounter athletes foot until last year when I let a friend use my shower. There's a last time for everything.

Military surplus boots, Corcoran brand. Comfortable and durable, the only two things I really give a shit about with footwear.
from 07-10 I wore $30 target converse and got mad blisters.
from 10-12 I wore AF-1s. super comfy and bouncy and great for dancing and no blisters, but holy hades my feet got hot.
this year I am bringing some slip-on converse with a woven toe and charcoal insoles for daytime, and then back to the air force ones at night.
