On your feet all day for 3 days in a row. Walking from the slushee stand to the Mojave tent to the Main stage and back again. Blisters and other foot pain can really fuck up your weekend.
I wanna try my new balance this year. Usually my vans or sandals.
You wanna fook on me?!
I have some converse style runners that are super comfy and some slip on soft runners that were great last year. Plus a sturdy pair of sandals that don't just fly off your foot if you dance or jump in a crowd are also good.
My Coachella shoes are at their end. They are literally cracking apart.
What exactly are walking shoes?
New balance, Nike, rebok, shoes...to walk or run in
You wanna fook on me?!
My first year my sister talked me into these hiking type shoes that looked like tennis but had air vents, I got the worst blisters, after that I switched to a pair of rocket dog flip flops and that has been it for me ever since. I am a little more nervous this year though, I don't know that my bad ankle can handle 3 days of desert walking/dancing in just flip flops so I will probably go with my tennis shoes/flip flop combo.
Wearing supportive shoes really helped me last year and my legs and feet are fine. I'm in great shape and everything. Just no arch support in my flips. I bought these new balance To work out in and my feet and back have felt soooooo much better , I wear them for everything. My girlfriend says they make me look old. Comfy feet dont care. The tongue is neoprene with diamond pattern cut out and mesh over, allowing air to swoosh through with every step(I get swamp foot easy) and they make me feel like I'm walking on a cloud compared to my flat vans I always wear.
These are my number two. Hemp vans
These are my festive shoes. Sanuk Holy Molys. Super airy and comfortable, antibacterial infused insole. Feels like wearing nothing.

You wanna fook on me?!
I'll be wearing some Nike Frees.
Where's Underworld and Mew? Make it happen GV.
I wear comfortable walking shoes. I wore Docs to much earlier Coachellas, and those gave me blisters, so walking/tennis shoes are what works for me. This year I want to try pretty, comfortable flats. I have a pair of silver-sequined mary janes that have a tennis shoe type sole, and I love wearing those to festivals.
I wore an old pair of chucks last time i went, epic mistake. Will have to make a note to myself to get better shoes for this one.

I killed my arch when I was highschool by never ever wearing good shoes. I don't need support, Toms were great for backpacking in Europe.
i have naturally flat feet but I created the same problem for myself. I usually wear vans but I've always kinda wanted some toms..how are they comfort wise? My feet get sore very easily because I'm one of those people you can hear coming from a mile away because my heel comes down like a hammer. Lol.
I have a pair of Nike Windrunners that are my designated shoes for events where i know my feet are going to get really dirty or stomped on a lot. They take a beating and their extremely comfortable for lots of walking and standing all day.

grass between the toes until the sun goes down or in the sahara
Always a different pair Saturday than Friday and Sunday.
If there's Coachella to be had, I'm gonna have it
I always wear New Balance running shoes to these types of events. Generally, running shoes are the best shoes to wear while doing a lot of walking. They absorb a lot of shock, are durable, light, and breath because they're almost always made with nylon mesh.
While I still have common sense, I'll probably wear these...
By the 2nd day waking up in the campground, tying shoelaces may seem like a chore and I'll resort to these...Knowing full and well that by day's end, my feet will look homeless...
By Sunday, I won't give a shit about what I look like, as long as my feet are comfy...
