Our first burn was absolutely incredible:-) The little windsurf board mutant vehicle was perfect for our small group and we drove around the open playa misting people on bikes and on foot, giving as many as we could rides and we met so many wonderful people! Here are just a couple of our photos and we are already planning on our own theme camp for next year!

I've never been to Burning Man but I think next year will be my year. Robot Heart and Distrikt really sound like my kind of places. Can someone please explain what the relationship between these two camps is? Sometimes I see pictures of them beside each other, sometimes not.

Two different sound camps, DISTRIKT is based outta San Francisco, RH from New York. DISTRIKT throws a day party/bar and has been on the playa for quite some time (mainly as The Deep End). RH has been around for a few plus years and is basically an art car that throws parties at night into sunrise. This year they stepped up their home base camp and made it more of a stationary sound camp while they are parked before they head out to the desert for the night. The pictures you see of them together is when RH drives the bus over to DISTRIKT during the day and plugs in their soundsystem to whoever is playing at DISTRIKT. There's more but this isn't the place.

It's pretty cheap and looks to have electronic music I can stomach, and I can take the train there.

I got swamped with work. How was LA Decom?

i for one had a fabulous time. ran into a lot of old friends I haven't seen in ages or had missed at BM. It wasn't too crowded. loved the music at the places i danced. the mushrooms were awesome. going with someone with a pass to go in/out to artist parking made for easy booze refills. and the border grill truck had delicious food. Couldn't have been better.
