Cut about 4 of the new songs and that was the setlist at Amoeba. All acoustic, and all kick ass.

That would be a fantastic set to have at FYF, truncated to an hour.

Basically just play the songs from Ugly Organ and a selection of the earlier LP/EP songs.

Then do an acoustic short set of The Good Life songs.

Sunni, I may be coming down for this. If so, I'll be getting rooms through my work for $49/night. I'll know in a day or two whether or not I'll be going. Also, how are you getting down? Wanna carpool?

Spots are still available. My friends that were going to come from Salt Lake aren't coming anymore so it's just me in the room now.

Do the after shows happen in any particular localized area? Trying to find a place to stay that is close to it all.

Do you care this badly who goes where? If you are going both days, the there aren't issues.

Quicksand is day 2, that's all you get.

VIP at FYF is about as pointless as anything can get.

Not sure when we'll get a day-by-day breakdown, but the set times is always really last second.

This. Last year they said on twitter that it would be out like the Monday before, then it didn't. Then they said Tuesday, and it didn't. It was a pain. But ended up being pretty well balanced.
Friday: Outkast, The Knife, The Replacements, Broken Bells, Girl Talk, Haim, Bryan Ferry
Saturday: Lorde, Empire of the Sun, Fatboy Slim, Nas, Kid Cudi, Sleigh Bells, CHVRCHES, Mogwai, Bombay Bicycle Club, Holy Ghost!, The Internet
Sunday: Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel, Disclosure, Chance the Rapper, Starfucker, Superchunk, Poolside

Let me know as well! I'm going, and possibly a couple of friends. I think I have a carpool ride sorted out, but it's nice to have options, and I don't have housing accounted for yet.

The Suicide of Western Culture are really something else. The band hails from Spain and has been described as "electronic post-rock." Check them out if you haven't already.

EDIT* Did anyone see them at Primavera? I guess they have a Fuck Buttons esque stage set-up.

Just grabbed their album, sounds like one of the best things on the line-up haha. So I've never listened to Baroness, but holy shit they are good. My kind of metal music.

Along with White Fence, TSOWC are my favorite FYF discovery - hopefully they are on early in the day to help mitigate the inevitable afternoon/nighttime conflict nightmares.
