I had to get back at you for what you said about Spiritualized.

Fair enough.

I emailed Fucked Up's booking agent, as they were listed on both days while other FYF artists represented by the agency were listed on one specific day, and he told me they'll be playing on Saturday.
5/30 - John Talabot @ Echoplex
6/5 - Parquet Courts @ Echo
6/8 - The Field @ El Rey
6/18 Eleanor Friedberger @ Echo/Mount Kimbie @ Echoplex double-dip
6/28 - Baths @ El Rey
8/24-25 - FYF Fest
9/12 -GY!BE @ Fonda
9/15 - GY!BE @ Belly Up
9/24 - Depeche Mode @ SB Bowl
Well, if they're playing Saturday at FYF and the free Labor Daze festival in Visalia on Monday, then Saturday night and Sunday are still open for any after shows or other LA gigs.
*based upon tedious fact checking.
Anyone remember when the after shows were announced last year?

I really just want Fucked Up to do a Year of the set. It'd go about 2-3 hours, Damian's voice would go out super early, all the hardcore kids would bitch about it, and it'd probably be the only time during Fucked Up's career where you see Mike Haliechuk happy on stage.
"Next week. There will be more and I promise you will be pleased. #FYFFEST"
From FYF's Twitter.
More bands? The conflicts were going to be bad already
Probably the comedy tent lineup.

i hope it's the day by day breakdown and/or more bands. but it's probably a price hike -___-
So quick question has anyone seen cursive lately. I was a big fan of theirs back in the day not really impressed with happy hollow and didnt really like the new single, but I was hoping they put on a great and play a bunch of domestica, is this a reach and should I skip them most likely or do they put on a helluva show
I saw them at Amoeba recently. They did an acoustic set so it was probably atypical, but they had three songs from The Ugly Organ and two from Domestica. I think one from Burst and Bloom as well, but I may be making that up. The new stuff is also better live (And Happy Hollow was the same way.)
I saw them while they toured Happy Hallows and they were fantastic. Reports on here from very recent tours have been very enthusiastic too. they're a great live band. I recommend giving the whole new album a spin, too, it's much better than the extremely forgettable Mama, I'm Swollen and Happy Hallows.
