Yes, lackluster as in not up to todays production standards visually. I weigh more on going to a set based on musical talent too, as oppose to if the visuals and productions will be insane, but when I've seen Justice twice several years ago, and their production hasn't changed almost at all 4 years later, it doesn't give me much motivation to see them again.
I loved Cross, and am pretty excited to see their set. I'm really hoping there isn't a Dre conflict though because I'm gonna have to go with him. A lotta hate is on this thread though, I'm pretty surprised. As far as the picture goes I highly doubt they decided to fake a live set with their controllers unplugged.
Upcoming Concerts:
4/16-Crystal Castles @ The Beacham/Orlando, FL
4/19-4/21- COACHELLA
5/3- Matt & Kim @ Northcote Social Club/Northcote, VIC, Australia

THE TRUTH.
I'm excited to see them, I just don't know about the conflicts were going to get on Sunday night
The thought of DJ Shadow into Justice makes me...wet
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
Friday: Refused, M83, SebastiAn, Breakbot, Feed Me, Wolfgang, Ximena Sariņana.
Saturday: The Shins, Miike Snow, Flying Lotus, Azealia Banks, Borgore, Destructo.
Sunday: At the Drive In, Justice, La Roux, Santigold, Flux Pavilion & Doctor P, The Gaslamp Killer.
^ what are the 3rd and 4th? there's cross and a/v/d then there's the live album a cross the universe.
The new album has actually really grown on me. The clips of their new show are also really promising, and the new songs sound great mixed with the old tracks. They are incredibly high on my list, and I am hoping that the Sebastian Ingrosso move to Sunday means he will be closing against Dre/Snoop (a la Axwell and Angello closing against headliners last year) and not Justice.
Sunday is going to be a mess after 8:30.
Justice was very fresh when "Cross" first came out in my opinion. With that being said, its almost been 5 years since that album came out and they're still playing those songs like they're new. I'll for sure be stopping by to check out the live set up but im hoping they bust out some new remixes atleast..the new album is something i'd drive too, but not boogie on the polo fields to

saw them live in 07 sucked
and i was drunk
sorry not everyone is only into completely underground edm, if theres something better happening during that time slot i wont see them, get off of me
you're the first person ive seen/heard say that, congratulations on having an opinion different than a lot of other peoples'
I'm more stoked for SebastiAn, since he finally released a full length. Justice in 07 and 09 were relatively identical... and the new album is like turds to the ears... so I think I'll pass.

Justice (and subsequently the whole Ed Banger scene) were a huge deal to me when they exploded originally. Despite this, I never got to see them live, so I'm excited to finally get the chance.
Also I can't fucking believe people are still posting the unplugged MIDI controller photo. It was disproved about 10 minutes after it hit the web originally but I guess people just see what they want to. Gaspard has never contributed heavily to the DJ sets regardless (when they're DJing on Ableton he just launches vocal clips) so that's a very small part of the performance to be concerned with anyway.
loops of funk over hardcore beats
Well of course the ravers aren't going to understand the new album. When real instruments get involved and you can't shuffle to it, their brains start short circuiting. I guess Justice should've gone with a dub step album. Than all the EDM hipsters would be happy but wait.....I guess they hate everything.

Justice- aside from some energetic moments in a few songs, don't do anything interesting production wise. The one dj set I saw was also incredibly mundane.
No hate anymore, but just nothing to get excited about. Would be cool if they upped their game.
Rhythm is a dancer.
i gave the 2nd album a few listens. doesn't blow me away but it should mix nicely with cross. their dj sets blow. thankfully this is live.
Ive seen Justice 6 times, and the absolute worst was the final show i saw, Hard Haunted Mansion 08 dj set, holy fuck it was terrible!! I dont doubt for a single second the new LIVE show kicks major ass. I havent watched more than 1 min of footage from the Australia sets, so Im hoping they throw some hard hitting stuff, the Waters of Nazareth/Ministry stuff was great.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
