Petition for no D-bag MC's in DNB and dubstep sets

we've all experienced it..a perfectly good show getting shit on by some douchebag MC. its usually during drum n bass or dubstep. I know subfocus had an MC at edc and i fuckin hope to god there are no MC's during any sets at coachella, whos with me?

At magnetic man last year the MC had them cut the music and had everyone sit down. That right there just killed it for me. On top of he just wouldn't shut the fuck up, he just kept screaming nonsense over the music. I got up and left. Was truly an annoying set.... That being said, i think an MC can be a good thing as long as they limit the amount of jibberish that comes out of their mouth and only talk during appropriate spots of the song.

In my experience and MC has never enhanced a set, only gotten redundant and annoying.

That MC was Sgt. Pokes, he was one of the collaborators for dubstep's earlier sound with DMZ and such. But yeah, I agree, he was kind of annoying during that set. The best MC I've ever heard was whoever was MC'ing for Breakage at Nocturnal 2011. It actually worked pretty well.

I recorded a video from Magnetic Man last year, when they played "Perfect Stranger." The part in the chorus where Katy B sings "all I really know is, there's something in your heart," Sgt. Pokes abruptly screams the word "SOMETHING" really loud into the mic, almost like he forgot the rest of the words. My friends and I had a good laugh when re-watching the videos I took, he sounds so ridiculous.

When I say dubstep you say Caspa! Goddamn that guy was annoying. Nothing was worse than Excision's MC though. We dropped by just to check out the early Sahara crowd and even though Excision's set was awful, his MC was worse. Trips and falls on stage "it's okay guys I'm alright!" ...what an idiot.

conrad is consistently great. had a chance to meet him at a tucson show once, really nice guy.

mc kemst was fine at high contrast's set last year. proper amount of hyping the DJ, playing to the crowd, and shutting the fuck up.
