The new shows i am digging the most this year are Glee and Pawn Kings (History Channel). Glee is a show unto it's own. Very funny, great cast, colorful and they execute the musical numbers week in and week out.

Pawn Stars is a reality show set in a pawn shop in Vegas. It's like The Antiques Road Show on PBS, but more entertaining. Fun history lessons with any object that enters the place:

I thought maybe I was the only person who enjoys watching Glee. It was one of my guilty pleasures I didn't mention before, glad I am not the only one.

I watch way too much tv but:

    Reality shows
    Leverage
    Lie To Me
    Flash Forward
    Modern Family
    V
    Fringe
And every news and political show there is

Fringe is a good one. By far one of my most highly rated shows of late. It's like we have the X-files back but with more humor.

I also (like a lot of people) Lost... but even more than Lost is Friday Night Lights. Seriously, people need to give this show the love it deserves. I think people see it's a show about high school football and write if off. But the acting is top notch, the story compelling, the scenes believable, and is basically great television. Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

    This does not surprise me.

I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and watched a TV show that wasn't sports or news or Letterman/Conan/etc. I mean an actual TV drama or comedy with fictional characters and a plot and all that? It's been at least a year I think.

Well just watching television is painful. Commercials suck any joy I could potentially gain from watching tv. Thank God for the invention of DVD, tivo, and torrents.

The only tv I watch is DVR, except sporting events. So the only commercials I really see are the tailgate tested tailgate approved ones which make smile.

Commercials really do suck. They're nearly as bad as the material between them.

I think the quality of television has actually improved as the years have gone by. Unlike movies, they are able to tell long narratives, create rich character development, and really draw the viewer in. This is why even comedies are now having complex story arcs that go from season to season. Now if you simply do not like visual media, that's something else entirely.

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

I finally watched the remaining episodes of White Collar and actually really enjoyed the last couple episodes. I was on the fence up until then but now I am really looking forward to it coming back on in January.

I literally don't know one single person who has watched Survivor since it's initial season. Seriously?

My husband and I have been watching Survivor together since we first started dating (10 years ago!). I think it's more of a tradition now, mostly. EXCEPT this season is pretty good because of Russell. He is really skilled at this game and it's hilarious to watch.

    Lately...

Hoarders (ew! but I can't look away)
    Intervention (same)
    Survivor
    Amazing Race
    Curb Your Enthusiasm
    Bored to Death
So You Think You Can Dance
    The Soup
SNL (still hangin' in there--another tradition)
    Top Chef

Can't wait for the new season of The Tudors!!!
